Autistic‑Led Community Initiatives
We Amplify, Center, and Empower Autistic Voices—not only in conversations about autism, but in every conversation where humanity, justice, and imagination belong.
neuroDIVERSEcity is a coalition of autistically led organizations working together to empower a city where the culture itself is accessible to everyone, built through understanding, clarity, and accommodation, through small business endorsements that identify spaces where neurodiverse people can participate without “masking” and through education created by autistic adults that explains the autistic experience in clear, practical terms for the public.
The Neurodiverse Advisory Panel is a no‑commitment group of autistic and otherwise neurodivergent community members whose lived experience guides every decision at Autistic Pride Chattanooga, ensuring our work stays community‑led, accountable, and shaped by real needs.
Autistics for Safe Food is an autistic‑led project supporting people with ARFID and other dietary needs who also face food insecurity, through education, preferred‑foods support, and the Safe Foods Fridge program — a growing community resource built around dignity, comfort, and choice.
