Inaugural Autistic Pride Day Sponsorship & Underwriting Opportunities
The first autistic-led Autistic Pride Day in the Southeast: newly launched, rapidly growing, and built to last.
Autistic Pride Day has been an autistic‑led global movement since its creation more than twenty years ago, celebrated internationally each year on June 18th as a day of autistic culture, community, and self‑determination. In 2026, Autistic Pride Chattanooga is honored to bring one of the first U.S. Autistic Pride Day celebrations to Chattanooga—placing autistic culture, visibility, and leadership at the center of our region.
As we prepare for this historic celebration, our momentum is strong, our community is growing, and the need for representation and connection has never been clearer.
As a community‑rooted, autistic‑led 501(c)(3), Autistic Pride Chattanooga provides not only this landmark celebration, but also year‑round programming, resource navigation, food access support, and neurodiversity education across the greater Chattanooga area. Our work is powered entirely by local partners, sponsors, underwriters, donors, and a committed volunteer board and Neurodiverse Advisory Panel.
Although this is our inaugural Autistic Pride Day, our organization has grown rapidly in response to Chattanooga’s need for autistic‑centered spaces, leadership, and advocacy. Our community events consistently draw autistic adults, families, youth, and allies seeking connection, belonging, and representation. Autistic Pride Day will expand this reach even further—bringing together autistic people from across the region for a day of culture, joy, and collective visibility.
As our community grows, so does the region’s desire for understanding, inclusion, and authentic autistic representation. In a time when autistic voices are often overlooked or spoken over, we recognize the urgent need for autistic‑led advocacy, education, and celebration. We are ready to meet that need.
To build an event worthy of this moment, we are seeking partners who share our commitment to visibility, equity, and community transformation. Your support—whether as a financial sponsor or an in‑kind underwriter—will directly fund accessibility measures, community resources, sensory‑inclusive design, marketing and outreach, and autistic‑led programming, including panels, workshops, and cultural experiences shaped by autistic voices.
We invite you to join us—not only as a sponsor or underwriter, but as a partner in building a more inclusive Chattanooga. Partnership places your organization at the forefront of a growing regional movement and aligns your values with one of the most meaningful new cultural events in the Southeast. Whether through underwriting a key component of the event or through a general sponsorship contribution, your support directly strengthens the visibility, accessibility, and impact of Autistic Pride Day.
Enclosed you will find our 2026 Sponsorship Package outlining opportunities for involvement at various levels. Every contribution makes a tangible impact. We would be glad to meet with you to discuss how your partnership can bring visibility, representation, and community connection to life.
Additional Visibility Opportunities
As Autistic Pride Day evolves, new visibility opportunities may open up (including booths, signage, or merchandise). We welcome sponsors and underwriters to reach out anytime to access any new opportunities that arise.
* Some visibility items, such as printed flyers, have production deadlines, so early confirmation ensures inclusion in all available materials.
Underwriter Package - Expanded Description
Underwriters partner with Autistic Pride Chattanooga by providing in‑kind support for key components of Autistic Pride Day. This model reflects our commitment to accessibility, shared resources, and community collaboration. By inviting partners to underwrite specific elements of the event, we create opportunities for organizations of all sizes to participate meaningfully, strengthen community connections, and help build an event rooted in interdependence and collective care.
We want to share the vision we’re dreaming toward, even if year one is smaller, simpler, or still taking shape. We imagine a choose‑your‑own‑adventure celebration of autistic culture, joy, and belonging. At the center is a main room with an opening ceremony, autistic‑led panels, comedy breaks, stimming contests, open‑mic readings, and a closing ceremony. Around it, we envision smaller spaces: a cozy movie room, a drop‑in one‑shot D&D game, a reading room curated by local bookshops, a true silent auction featuring neurodivergent art, a somatic yoga and sensory‑rest room, and hallways filled with vendor booths and community tables. We also welcome additional ideas, resources, and creative contributions that could expand or enhance these spaces in ways we haven’t imagined yet.
In‑kind underwriting helps make these spaces possible by supporting the physical, sensory, and creative elements that bring each room to life. Underwriters receive the highest level of visibility and recognition throughout the entire campaign, while directly contributing to an event built on dignity, inclusion, and community care.
