Support the Celebration
Autistic Pride Day is built by the community, and the celebration comes to life through the support of individuals, organizations, and businesses who believe in creating spaces where autistic people can gather in pride, connection, and joy.
From underwriting event experiences to making a donation or preregistering to support the day, there are many ways to help sustain this celebration and ensure it continues
to grow.
Whether you represent a business, organization, or are simply someone who wants to help support the event, there is a place for you to contribute.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Businesses and organizations can support Autistic Pride Day through sponsorship. Sponsorship support helps sustain the event while allowing organizations to publicly support autistic pride, inclusion, and community building.
Our sponsorship packages start at $100. Because Autistic Pride Chattanooga is a small grassroots 501(c)(3), even modest support goes a long way. Our total event budget for this first Autistic Pride Day is under $1,000, meaning each sponsor plays a meaningful role in bringing the celebration to life.
We also understand that we are a new organization. By the time Autistic Pride Day arrives, Autistic Pride Chattanooga will have existed for only a few months. Supporting us now means becoming part of something at the very beginning.
Autistic Pride is part of a 20-year international movement, and our goal is to establish the first lasting Autistic Pride Day tradition in our region. Sponsors who join us this year will always be able to say they were there at the start — helping create a new tradition and supporting autistic leadership in our community.
Right now what we can offer is simple: recognition, gratitude, and a small stage where we proudly say your name. What we are building for the future is something much larger — a growing community celebration where early supporters will always be remembered as the ones who believed in it first.
Event Underwriting & In-Kind Support
Event underwriters help make specific experiences and features of Autistic Pride Day possible. This may include supporting activity spaces, accessibility features, equipment, or other elements that bring the celebration to life.
In-Kind Underwriting
Some organizations support Autistic Pride Day through in-kind underwriting, contributing materials, services, or experiences that become part of the event itself. For example, Creatives on the Go Party Co is offering face painting and balloon art as an in-kind donation, providing those activities free to the public during the event.
Financial Underwriting
Other partners support the event through financial underwriting, helping cover the cost of specific experiences or activities. In some cases, this means working directly with a vendor or provider to make that experience possible. For example, Northern Lights Behavioral Consulting is underwriting Bubble Mania, working directly with the vendor to bring that activity to Autistic Pride Day.
This is where we invite our community to get creative and think about what you might contribute to help build this day with us. If your organization has an idea for an experience, activity, or resource you would like to support through underwriting or in-kind contributions, we would love to hear from you.
Donations & Giving
Individual donations play an important role in sustaining Autistic Pride Chattanooga and helping bring Autistic Pride Day
to life.
We are an autistic-led grassroots 501(c)(3) working to build systems of care, community, and access in Chattanooga — from food-security initiatives shaped by autistic needs, to cultural events that celebrate autistic identity, to partnerships that make our city more welcoming for neurodivergent people.
Contributions help fund the accessibility supports, equipment, resources, and infrastructure that make Autistic Pride Day possible, while also supporting the broader work of Autistic Pride Chattanooga throughout the year.
Every gift helps strengthen a movement led by autistic people and guided by lived experience.
Preregister & Support the Celebration
Autistic Pride Day is completely free to attend, and registration will also be available at the door on the day of the event.
For those who would like to support the celebration ahead of time, preregistration is available for $5. Early registration helps our team prepare the space, activities, and resources needed for everyone coming together.
As a thank you, guests who preregister will receive a limited-edition Adventure Lanyard at check-in — a souvenir from the first Autistic Pride Day in the Southeast United States.
Volunteer Support
Volunteers play an essential role in making Autistic Pride Day possible. From welcoming guests and guiding visitors through activities to supporting quiet spaces, helping vendors and artists, and assisting with setup or cleanup, volunteers help create the experience for everyone who attends.
Support for Autistic Pride Day also happens throughout the year. Volunteers who contribute to initiatives like Autistics for Safe Food, neuroDIVERSEcity, community meetups, and behind-the-scenes projects help strengthen the foundation that allows Autistic Pride Day to happen.
In other words, when you volunteer anywhere in our community, you are helping make Autistic Pride Day possible
.
If you’re interested in getting involved, we invite you to learn more about how volunteering works and complete our volunteer interest form.
Built By Community
Autistic Pride Day exists because people choose to support it. Every sponsorship, donation, underwriting partnership, and preregistration helps bring this celebration to life.
Together we are building something new for our region — a space where autistic people can gather, celebrate identity, and experience community on our own terms.
If you have questions, ideas, or would like to explore ways to support the celebration, we invite you to reach out and connect with us.
Thank you for helping make Autistic Pride Day possible.
